Vashon Island terminal

Leaving Vashon, the peak commute hours are between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with a suggested advance arrival time for vehicle traffic of 45-60 minutes. For non-peak travel, a 20 minutes advance arrival is suggested. Passengers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to sailing.

Parking is available about a block away from the terminal on the hill. There are Park and Ride lots available in town. For park and ride information and bus connections check Metro Online.

There is no payment for passengers or bicycles traveling from Vashon to Fauntleroy or Southworth. Bicyclists may bypass the line of vehicle traffic to get onto the ferry dock. Bicyclists should queue near the terminal building unless otherwise directed.

Bicyclists should arrive 20 minutes prior to departure time to be loaded at the beginning of loading process. If a bicyclist arrives after vehicle loading has begun, they will be loaded at the end of the load. Riders should walk their bikes on and off the ferry to avoid injuring passengers. There is one rack which holds 6-8 racks.
